QUEER FRUITS FILM FESTIVAL
Entry Guidelines
To be eligible to enter Queer Fruits Film Festival the film must be either by or about
GLBTIQ persons, themes, or issues, that are relevant, recognisable, or of interest to the
GLBTIQ community. Films from queer filmmakers and films with queer themes. Emerging
and Established queer filmmakers are equally welcome to enter.

There are four entry dates; to be eligible the entry, entry fee and preview DVD must be
received by the closing date. Please provide evidence (photocopy of student card or
university membership #) with concessional entries.

In 2012, all Australian queer films under 27 minutes duration, produced within the 12
months since December 1st, 2010, will automatically also be eligible for consideration as
the Queer Fruits Film Festival nomination for the new National Film and Sound Archive
award : The NFSA Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Short Film Award,
this prestigious, acquisitive award has a $5,000 cash prize
